Right from the start, I tested Retro Riders on the café’s logo draft. The bold, slightly weathered strokes gave the name a handcrafted feel, perfect for a place that served locally sourced coffee and homemade pastries. It wasn’t just about the look — it felt like the font had character, almost like it belonged on a sign outside a roadside diner. I paired it with a clean sans serif for body text, which kept the design balanced without losing that vintage charm.

As I moved through mockups, I noticed how well Retro Riders worked on signage. A simple “Welcome” in the font placed above the entrance felt authentic, like it had been carved into wood by someone with a chisel and a love for old-school style. It wasn’t just a font — it was part of the story the café wanted to tell.
